Sound Design

Sound is in our blood. It has been coursing through our consciousness since the days before language - an ancient power surrounding everything around us, informing us of our world. The energy of sound pierces our emotions, making us feel anger, love, anxiety, fear, lust and joy.

The rumble of a gathering storm. The warmth and crackle of a log fire. The rustle of wind through the trees. The whining of a wounded animal. Sound can speak to us on a wordless, primal level. 

As a sound designer Chris believes that the creative and expressive use of sound is vital to quality, emotive storytelling. He embraces the unique challenges of each project, and is fully committed to the realisation of the clients' vision.
He has a passion for sound and its marriage to picture that has fueled a lifelong obsession with audio technologies. A continuing fascination with the emotional resonance of sound is leading him through a career as a musician, songwriter and producer, often banging or scraping whatever's around to create new and interesting sounds for his projects.He formalised his training with a degree in Sound Design at the Leeds College of Music where he specialised in designing sound for films.
